A student with an advocate has someone looking out for them — someone who can see and intervene when something’s wrong. When a student learns how to recognize triggers they can address mental health challenges before they become a crisis.

You’d be amazed how confident a teen grows when they learn how to advocate for themselves. And sometimes all it takes is someone helping them create a plan — a different way of doing things so they get through the day knowing they aren’t alone.
