We are excited to host the opportunity for parents and caregivers of medically complex children to connect with others who "just get it". Each group will take place on Zoom and will be a casual, come as you are environment. While there will be overarching topics, please bring anything you'd like to to share (or just listening is perfectly fine too!). Each group will require a minimum of two paricipants in order to be held and if cancelled, you will be informed by that morning.
Groups will be facilitated by JJMF's Community Engagement Manager, Karlita Blackwell. In addition to being a parent caregiver to a son with a complex neurological condition, she also holds a master's degree in counseling and is involved in rare disease and newborn screening advocacy. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to her at karlita@junejessee.org.
