Go The Extra Mile-a-thon

Northwest Hope and Healing's mission is to go the extra mile for women in need. We provide grants to help breast and gynecologic cancer patients get through treatment. These grants pay for expenses that are not covered by traditional health care - groceries, gas, child care, rent, utilities, and anything else. 

Darrin Maddux and his wife Michelle are going the extra mile for Northwest Hope and Healing. As a survivor herself, Michelle saw firsthand how expensive cancer can be and not just the treatment. She and her husband organized an inaugural bikeathon in October of 2020 and thanks to the support of their colleagues and a generous contribution from their employer - Edrington - they raised $18,477 for local women in need. In 2021, they were able to make an even bigger impact with a $30,817 contribution to our Patient Assistance Fund!
