One moment please...
The Commemorative Bench Program is a great way to honor or memorialize a special someone. Constructed of native hardwood and blending into the rustic aesthetic of this natural area, these benches will be enjoyed by many as a place for comfort, rest and reflection for years to come.
For a donation of $5,000, benches will be placed as space is available in a limited amount of pre-approved locations throughout Percy and Edwin Warner Parks.
Benches will receive regular maintenance for the duration of the structure’s lifespan, a minimum of 10 years. At the end of this period, Metro Parks and/or Friends of Warner Parks may at its own discretion remove or offer replacement options for this bench. Donors will have first right of refusal for replacement options in the original location. If a commemorative bench is damaged during this time period, every effort will be made to repair and/or replace. Metro Parks and Friends of Warner Parks also reserve the right to remove and/or relocate the bench for safety, environmental or land management reasons.
Please fill out the following form and program director Paul Fowler will follow up with further details. Please note, the average waiting period per bench is 6 months, though may be longer dependent on desired location and bench availability.
