Description: Join Illinois Partners for this virtual training series designed for human service leaders who want to deepen their understanding and commitment to racial equity. Participants will share best practices, challenges, and strategies with one another to move past power dynamics created by white supremacy and racial injustice. This training is open to individuals in leadership roles, including directors, managers, and leaders of committees, workgroups, and task forces. The training sessions are facilitated by Illinois Partners staff, racial healing practitioners, and guest facilitators who are leading racial justice work.
Our virtual training series will be conducted in an interactive workshop format with a mix of presentations, group discussions, and breakout sessions. All participants must complete a self assessment, review key terms and concepts, and commit to attending the four sessions. There is no cost to participate. Space is limited.
