Donate to our clean cookstove program in Ecuador.

Green Empowerment is excited to be working with FOLK to leverage their experience with high quality responsible design to improve Green Empowerment’s clean cookstove program in Ecuador and beyond. With our local partner, ALTROPICO, we are currently implementing improved cookstove projects in two Ecuadorian provinces, generating significant interest from local communities and governments in the technology and opening opportunities for technology replication.

This project will lead to cookstove solutions designed to reduce firewood consumption, improve human health and accelerate adoption locally. Additionally, the project will address local manufacturing challenges and opportunities and provide lessons learned that may be able to be applied across projects and partnerships globally.
