Alsea Bay Stewardship Day
Join us on October 19th for a special event that is part of a collaborative initative that brings together conservation organizations working on water quality and salmon recovery throughout the NW. Together we will work to remove invasive ivy and yellow flag iris from the tidal marsh on The Wetlands Conservancy Starr Creek and Oxbow preserves in Alsea Bay. The ivy is impacting our shade producing trees and is in desperate need of removal. We will also gather debris and trash that is in the marsh to intercept it before it enters the ocean.
