Your role as a volunteer is vital in carrying out our mission of America SCORES Chicago, to inspire youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Game Day Assistance: Help set up fields, observe sportsmanship or hand out snacks at our Friday Game Days, from 4–6:30pm during the spring and fall seasons.
Annual Program Events: Volunteer at the Community Slam, SHOUT!, and Jamboree!
Annual Fundraising Events: Volunteer at Red Carpet Poetry Slam and SCORES Cup.
Board Participation: Apply to our Development Board or Executive Board to make a lasting difference in the organization!

Child Protection Waiver

In accordance with America SCORES Chicago's child protection practices, I understand that any individuals of the group are not allowed to be alone with any minor under the age of 18 at any time or for any circumstances.

Media Release Statement

We consent for America SCORES Chicago and/or its partner organizations to use my name, interview comments, photograph, and/or video for use in all media to promote or publicize programs in which I participate, or the organization of America SCORES Chicago participates. America SCORES Chicago will not combine our names with our photos/videos/comments without our expressed consent.

Injury and Incident Release of Liability

Our group hereby agrees to be responsible for the conduct and actions of ourselves or of our children and to release America SCORES Chicago from any claims and demands that may occur during participation in programming or events held in activity space for America SCORES Chicago. Our group furthermore agree to release America SCORES Chicago and its employees and will hold them harmless from any liability which may arise from incidents or accidents involving ourselves or our children while on America SCORES Chicago premises, and event or program space, to the extent allowed by the law.
