ReDefiners World Languages, in partnership with The University Mall, proudly announces the 1st Annual Black Heritage Month Community Expo, a celebration of the past to inspire the future. On the weekend of February 25-26th, come out and celebrate black heritage around the world with a fun-filled weekend. Tampa’s very own Queen Bee from 95.7 The Beat will kick-off the event on Saturday which will include a performance by Abasi Ote inspired by oral traditions of African cultures, there will also be a poetry slam and workshops. Sunday will feature financial literacy workshops, a community resource expo and so much more! The two-day event will feature tons of giveaways and activities for the entire family!
