Free Bikes For Kids Bicycle Application

Thank you for requesting a bicycle from our Free Bikes For Kids program.

This form may be filled out by a child's guardian or an authorized representative at a partner organization on behalf of the guardian. We will reach out to you via the contact information provided below, so please make sure it is correct.

Due to high demand and limited resources, it may take up to a month after an application has been submitted for us to select an appropriate bike, get it fixed up, and contact you. Thank you in advance for your patience.

If you request a bike, PLEASE PICK IT UP! Our staff and volunteers put a lot of work into these bikes, and it's very disappointing when they do not get picked up!

Bikes must be picked up from our shop. We are located in North Charleston, SC. See the address and directions below, as we can be a little tricky to find.

Once we have notified you to let you know that your bike is ready, you are welcome to schedule a pick-up during the times listed below. Please contact us before you come!

  • Any Tuesday or Thursday between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
  • Any Thursday between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm (during volunteering)
  • Any Saturday between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm (during volunteering)

Please do not come to pick up a bike unless we have notified you.

PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS:

You can find us in Building 1601, 2750 Ave B N in Park Circle. We share a warehouse with Fisher Recycling, so please follow their signs if you do not see ours. The signs will lead you down between Building 1601 and 1602, towards a blue shipping container. Park next to the shipping container and walk right through the gate on the other side of it. Our door is across from the piles of glass bottles.

Using the chart above, please select the appropriate size bike for your child. The sizes listed are the ones we currently have available. If you do not see the size your child needs (please use their height to determine size, not just their age!) check back in the future, as we update the sizes available regularly. We have limited quantities of certain sizes and cannot guarantee availability.

Favorite colors? Style of bike if 26" (cruiser, mountain bike, etc) We currently do not offer training wheels, sorry!
