Your company information will be displayed in 5,000 calendars distributed throughout Lee County. Show your commitment to keep the community we love clean, green, and beautiful!
All public, private and home-schooled students in Lee County are invited to create a full color drawing or painting showing what they have learned about conserving our resources and keeping our environment clean. The full-size color calendar features the winning artwork by Lee County students. Judges select a cover winner, 12 first place winners (one from each grade 1-12) and 36 honorable mention winners. Winners are recognized at a gala award ceremony held in the fall. The calendar, which is used as an educational tool, is distributed throughout the school system and during KLCB events. A blend of corporate support, educational content and children’s art makes this project one of the most fulfilling projects of KLCB’s mission. KLCB donates calendars to schools to serve as a source of funding for school environmental projects. Schools keep 100% of all the money they raise to be used toward the projects.
