Farmers' Market Vendor 101

Have you ever thought about selling at a farmers’ market but aren’t sure how the process works? Maybe you’ve been a farmers’ market vendor before but it didn’t work out as well as you expected.

Seacoast Eat Local has managed farmers’ markets since 2007 and has experience with many different types of vendors and market situations. We're here to get you prepared for becoming a market vendor, whether it's at one of our markets or elsewhere. Topics of this course will include the application process, different municipal regulations, packaging and labeling, staffing your booth, volume of product necessary to sustain demand, and more!

This course will help prepare you to participate in farmers’ markets in 2024 and beyond. It is intended for farmers, food producers, and fisheries of New Hampshire and Maine.

Friday, November 3rd, 10AM-12PM
