Adult B'nei Mitzvah Class Registration
Ready to dig into Jewish learning in community? Our winter series will begin Sunday, January 5th.
Join a cohort of weekly (with some breaks) learners to study Torah and its interpretations, books on Jewishness and Judaism, and participate in a siyyum (celebration of learning) that could serve as a bnei mitzvah for you as an adult. Class will be led by Rabbi David and will focus on the Torah portion of Shemot - the first section of the Book of Exodus illuminating the rise of a new king who systematically began the enslavement of the Hebrews.
All classes will be held at Kadima's home in Madrona Grace - 832 32nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98122. This class is available to Kadima members. If you are not a member, please join Kadima. Thank you!
While the main floor of Kadima is wheelchair accessible via a lift, the Adult B'nei Mitzvah class is currently scheduled to take place in an upstairs, not ADA accessible, room. Let us know if you need an ADA accessible space. The bathrooms are all-gender, and the door is 29.5" wide, (not ADA accessible). There are grab bars in one restroom. There is a quiet room available on both the first and second floors. Everyone is requested to arrive scent free. People are encouraged to be themselves, and will not be requested or forced to act in any particular way.
