Board Member - Board members are expected to attend board meetings every other month, join a committee, attend Affirmations events, and commit to a personal fundraising goal.
Communications & Development Committee - This committee meets once or twice per month and has a significant contribution to event planning and fundraising. Members typically have an event planning, fundraising, grants, donor relations, or communications background.
Governance Committee - This committee meets once a month and oversees the by-laws and board member onboarding process. Members typically have experience with nonprofit management or board engagement.
Finance Committee - This committee meets once a month and oversees the finances of the center. Members typically have a background in finance or accounting (CPA).
