Yael earned her MA in Deaf Education/ Special Education at McDaniel College, serves as Education Associate at CJE and teaches ASL in Bais Yaakov High School. Yael has been exploring and presenting on the topic of disability awareness for the past 10 years in schools and organizations across Jewish Baltimore including: Amit, Bais Yaakov, Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, Beth Am, Beth Tfiloh, Beit RJ, Bnos Yisroel, Camp Shoresh, Camp Milldale, Chizuk Amuno, Jewish Volunteer Connection, JCC Early Childhood Center, JPRO, Kesher Sunday School, Kol Echad, Krieger Schechter Day School, Menucha, Ohr Chadash Academy, Talmudical Academy and Torah Institute.
