Nature Journaling with Rebekah Lowell
Join Center for Wildlife and author/artist Rebekah Lowell for an immersive Nature Journaling experience here at Center for Wildlife in which we will explore our wild surroundings and learn to appreciate the sights, sounds and smells of the natural world around us!
Rebekah earned her BFA in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and has since become a published author and celebrated artist. Rebekah’s passion for the wonder of nature is evident in all of her work and we are blessed to have the opportunity to partner so that she can share these talents with all of you.
Nature journaling is a fantastic, meditative form of art in which observations, thoughts and emotions about the natural world can be both written and drawn. Our Nature Journaling Series will allow participants to both learn about and explore various aspects of nature including wildlife, plants and more. In each session, we will meet Center for Wildlife ambassador animals and enjoy time both indoors and out.
This series is targeted towards kids and young adults grades 4-8. Supplies will be provided but personal journals/art supplies can be used as well!
