The Hancock Historical Museum is the only nonprofit organization preserving and sharing our community's rich heritage. Without the museum's efforts, we would lose the stories, buildings, memories and treasures - and the lessons they hold - for future generations.
The museum sees more than 20,000 visitors annually for special events and educational programming, including more than 3,000 Hancock County schoolchildren. Volunteers assist with event planning, children's programming, hands-on demonstrations, museum tours, administrative tasks, and much more.
