Bible Basics Class

Bible Basics and the Story of Scripture - Starts Jan. 23

With over 5 billion copies in circulation translated into more than 1,275 languages, the Bible is credited as being the most distributed and owned book in the world. Unfortunately, the Bible also has the dubious honor of being the most owned and least read book in history! How can this be? In many cases people believe the Bible is too complicated and too difficult to read and understand.

If this sounds like you, please sign up for this 12-week class.

The objectives of this class include:

  • Learn how the Bible was structured, assembled, and why it is trustworthy.
  • Talk through the overarching story of scripture and critical texts.
  • Begin to learn an effective approach to reading and studying the Bible.
  • Gain confidence in reading the Bible as the foundation of your spiritual walk and sanctification.

The Facilitator: Joseph Meyers is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a MA in Biblical Studies. Joseph has developed and led Bible studies in a church, community group, and work setting for over 15 years.

Bibles and supplemental reading will be provided.

The in-person class starts January 23 at 11:15am (during the second service) in Room B/C.
