Hike with a Scientist - 7/13

Join Voyageurs Conservancy and Chris Hemstad for a hike through the geologic formations at Voyageurs National Park.

The morning will start with a short presentation on the formation of Voyageurs, 2.6 billion years ago. The group will then caravan a short distance to a site where we will walk and view multiple examples of geologic formations common to Voyageurs National Park.

When: Saturday, July 13th, 2024

Time: 9:00 AM -11:00 AM

Where: Rainy Lake Visitor Center

Be Prepared:

Wear comfortable shoes and clothes appropriate for the weather.
Bring sunscreen and bug spray if desired.
Bring a water bottle.
The walk will not be strenuous, but we will be on our feet walking and standing for 60-90 minutes (1.5 miles RT).

Registration is required and will be capped at 25 participants.
