Training Options

Learn the skills needed to be a fixer or part of our event management team at Repair Clark County events which happen all over the county. Training takes place at the Water Resource Center.
Learn effective tools for engaging guests in our Visitor Center and out in the community. You will also learn tools to help with administrative tasks while working in the Visitor Center.
Learn about our Field Trip program and how you can become a part of our education team. You will learn about the activities we do on field trips in addition to tips and tricks to keep children engaged.
Learn how to lead and manage groups safely to complete projects around our site. You will also learn some basic landscaping skills to be able to complete site maintenance tasks on your own time.
Learn about our most popular activity stations that you can host at monthly events and how to engage families. Docents are ambassadors of our site so you will be taught the ins and outs of Columbia Springs.
Learn how to lead a Columbia Springs Guided Walk and how to talk about our natural area, education programs and the Vancouver Trout Hatchery. Join one of our expert leaders on a walk after the training.
