The Pass the Mic Series, a new program from the Tennessee Theatre, strives to highlight artists from marginalized communities through immersive arts events. In addition to a performance, each event will also include a panel and/or community conversation about social issues that the artist is passionate about and how they impact the Knoxville community.

Other artforms such as spoken words, visual arts, and dance will be incorporated throughout other spaces in the Theatre during each concert as well. If you are interested in submitting your work to be a part of the visual arts gallery at each concert, please complete this form. With each performance, we strive to incorporate artists that relate to the headlining concert artist or the social issues that they choose to speak on.
