Veterans Path to Hope Outdoors and Wet N' Wild Outfitters are offering a free outing of fully guided ice fishing for 6 honorable* veterans or current active duty! Meeting point will be 811 Rolling Lane Rd., Johnsburg, IL 60051. Trip hours are 8am until roughly 2pm.
Must be a veteran or active duty, no guests. All Gear and bait provided, just show up in warm gear. No experience necessary. We will have coffee and donuts in the morning and serve lunch around noon.
If chosen we will contact you a week or two before to confirm your spot. With safety always a concern, ice conditions will play a factor in this trip. Please be flexible. *Please keep in mind that we prioritize individuals that have not attended a Veterans Path to Hope Outdoors event in the past.
*Veterans must have General, under honorable conditions or higher discharge status to participate in any VPH Outdoors outings. Chosen participants will be required to email us DD214, VHA card, or other veteran status proof.
