Join us for the first presentation in our new workshop series, Learning Land Use: A One-on-One with Land Use Lawyers. During this roundtable discussion, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at the practice of land use law from experienced professionals who work in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Chesapeake Legal Alliance Volunteer Attorneys, Andrea LeWinter (Taylor Law) & Ryan Kennedy (Dunlap, Bennett & Ludwig), together with Becky Witt of the Baltimore Zoning Board, will begin the discussion by sharing their experiences and insights in the practice of land use law and open the forum to the practice-related questions you've always wanted to ask.

About the Series: Learning Land Use

Land use law plays a key role in protecting the Chesapeake Bay by reducing the unchecked development (or "sprawl") that destroys native habitat and pollutes the Bay. Chesapeake Legal Alliance receives hundreds of requests for pro bono assistance for land use cases across the watershed. According to many of our volunteer attorneys, they would offer their services pro bono but have little or no experience in the field or simply don't know where to start. If that sounds familiar to you, rest assured that you are not alone.

Chesapeake Legal Alliance's new workshop series, Learning Land Use, is designed to take the mystery out of the field of land use law and enable you to help the many Bay advocates that depend on your pro bono assistance to protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay!
