The Friends of the Shenandoah River (FOSR) invites anyone that is concerned about the Shenandoah River to become a FOSR’s community science water-quality monitoring program.
The “backbone” of the FOSR Water Monitor Program is our monitors. Once a month, over 65 dedicated monitors take approximately 75 water samples covering 8 counties in the Shenandoah/Potomac River Watershed in Virginia and West Virginia.
If you would like to become a part of the FOSR’s water-quality monitoring team in your area, please contact Karen Andersen, (540) 665-1286.
