Readers' Race 2024

We're excited to embark on our school's first ever READING RACE! It's just one way Shepherd Christian School is instilling a love of learning in our students.

With a little encouragement from teachers, classmates and supporters like you, it's phenomenal what our children can accomplish!

By supporting this year's Readers' Race beginning February 13th and ending February 22nd, you will not only instill a lifelong love of reading in young children, but you will also support the growth of our young school which just began in the fall of 2022!

If we meet our school-wide goal (read 10,000 minutes and raise $10,000) we are going to King's Dominion! UPDATE: Thank you! As of 3/1, the school DOUBLED its reading goal by exceeding 20,000 minutes! We are still counting donations and have collected over $10,010 in support of our readers so far! Any extra amount will help us close the gap in remaining funding needed for this fiscal year.
