A disability awareness experience with a Jewish lens. Learn how to foster a mindset of inclusion in your classroom. Start with yourself by learning to identify warning signs of a disability and explore tips for supporting students who present these "red flags." Learn how to create a sensory safe space in your classroom. Develop language and activities for modeling inclusion and threading it into your standard and invisible curriculum.

Do you need specialty items or adhesive to create art? Explore the art of designing beautiful things from loose objects that are collected from your home, and exchanged within a learning community. A stick, a stone, a wooden spool, a bit of broken jewelry, just the perfect materials to support the creative process.

Instructor: Julie Wohl, Director, PJ Library, CJE

3 Curriculum COK hours will be given.

 All classes are $10

We welcome participants of all abilities. If you need any special accommodations, please contact Chanie Feldman at cfeldman@cjeb.org
