A disability awareness experience with a Jewish lens. Learn how to foster a mindset of inclusion in your classroom. Start with yourself by learning to identify warning signs of a disability and explore tips for supporting students who present these "red flags." Learn how to create a sensory safe space in your classroom. Develop language and activities for modeling inclusion and threading it into your standard and invisible curriculum.

Sign language is such a helpful tool in the early childhood classroom. It offers a communication tool for pre-speakers, a kinesthetic way to communicate and supports inclusion for students who are deaf or have a hearing loss. Learn some basic signs that benefit all early childhood classrooms.

Do you need specialty items or adhesive to create art? Explore the art of designing beautiful things from loose objects that are collected from your home, and exchanged within a learning community. A stick, a stone, a wooden spool, a bit of broken jewelry, just the perfect materials to support the creative process.
