Human trafficking is the second largest and fastest growing organized crime in the United States. Chains Interrupted fights human trafficking through awareness, prevention, and advocacy. We provide training to schools, hotels/motels, medical facilities, churches, community organizations and businesses; giving them the tools they need to recognize, empower, and respond to the human trafficking epidemic. We offer advocacy and assist those affected by human trafficking who are able to escape their traffickers.
Our Beauty from Ashes program offers assistance with, and referrals to, trauma and substance abuse counselling as well as training in budgeting, job and life skills, self-defense, boundaries, and healthy habits. For those who need it, we have the Harbor Home: low supervision housing to assist survivors to recover their souls and obtain independent living. To continue this work, we need support from people like you.
