Led by naturalist Peter Trull.
Join naturalist and author Peter Trull for field class adventures exploring the water's edge and forested trails of Bell’s Neck Conservation Lands and the intertidal habitats of Red River Beach. Observe and scan for migratory birds ranging from songbirds to herons, raptors to waterfowl. Learn about migratory species and observe their foraging behaviors as they build up fat stores for their upcoming journeys.
These walks/classes will build your birding identification skills and confidence while teaching about a variety of bird species, their life histories, and their interrelationships across different habitats.
Birding enthusiasts from all experience levels are welcome. Bring binoculars.
