FreshFest 2024

FreshFest is a week long early move in orientation for our incoming Jewish Huskies! You will move in on Thursday August 29th, join us for a family welcome gathering Thursday evening and then FreshFest officially begins Friday August 30th when we leave for a weekend at Camp Ramah of New England! We return to campus Sunday September 1st and have a variety of welcome activities during the first few days before classes begin on Wednesday September 4th, we culminate with our Welcome Back Shabbat for the entire community on Friday September 6th! Camp is a Shabbat friendly and Kosher weekend retreat accessible for all Jewish students, we are accomodating of all observance levels!

Our week-long FreshFest program is offered at a highly subsidized cost of $350.

August 1st Update! Early move in has been closed by the University! Please sign up for our welcome week activities which do not include early move in or our weekend retreat! If you would still like to particiapte in our weekend retreat you can sign up but you will not have access to early move in through Hillel!

Unable to attend camp but still want to be part of FreshFest? Students have the opportunity to attend FreshFest activities Monday September 2nd through Friday September 6th at a discounted rate for $150.

*Please note if you are not participating in the FreshFest camp retreat we cannot faciliate early move in on your behalf. You'll move in with the rest of the student body and will be able to particiapte in all our Boston based on and off campus activities during the week of September 2nd!

Going to be abroad first semester on an NUin program? Students who will be attending an NUin program with a start date after September 1st are welcome to join us for the camp portion of FreshFest from August 30th-September 1st at a discounted rate of $200. Programs that typically start after September 1st are Germany, Portugal, Greece, Scotland, Ireland, and Northern Ireland.
