Take an easy, pleasant walk along McMichaels Creek to look for wildflowers and early pollinators. The rich floodplain forest at Pomeroy Nature Preserve creates a good habitat for pretty spring ephemeral plants native to our region.

If you’re interested, stick around after the walk to pull invasive plants from the restoration area and make room for more native plants to grow.
