A Poem for the Holidays Workshop

A Special Workshop at Historic Johnson Farm

Join us Tuesday, November 8th from 10am-12pm

A Creative Workshop with teacher and poet, Richard Morgan

Presented by:
The Art Council of Henderson County
at Historic Johnson Farm
3346 Haywood Rd
Hendersonville, NC 28791

The holidays provide a wealth of poetic opportunities to express feelings about
family and friends, gratitude, and…frustration.  Richard Morgan, who led a
Writing Memoir Poetry Workshop with us last April, believes there is poetry in
all of us and the holidays are a perfect time to put pen to paper. He will inspire
and instruct participants while sharing what he has learned over a lifetime of
teaching and writing.

As always, questions and comments will be encouraged.

Here is a list of poetic possibilities:
The inside of an original holiday card,
A poem or prayer for the dinner table,
A poem to someone who isn’t there,
A remembrance of a past holiday,
The private expression of love, frustration,
exuberance, disappointment or gratitude.

When: Tuesday, November 8, 2022 / 10am-12pm

Where: Historic Johnson Farm / 3346 Haywood Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28791

Cost: $25

We have space for 10 students total at this workshop.
