Seattle’s central waterfront is undergoing a massive transformation, but the new Waterfront Park is just the latest iteration of the human relationship with the shoreline that stretches back to time immemorial. It has seen arrivals, expulsions, innovation, conflict, and celebration; and it has defined Seattle’s character. Join historian Jennifer Ott as she explores some of the pivotal moments in the waterfront’s long history.
