Leave an Impression on the Gatekeeper's House!

The Gatekeeper's House is the backdrop for all of our programs, from our Summer Arts Workshop, to our original Pantomimes written and rehearsed within its walls. We are proud to be the curators for this property, entrusted with its care and preservation, but preserving a home like the Gatekeeper's House takes a certain level of dedication and passion, and of course, resources.

This year, we must take on the biggest renovation project to date. It is crucial that Theater in the Open renovate the exterior of the Gatekeeper's house – shingles, stucco, and the roof – to ensure its longevity.

We were honored to receive a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council to provide half of the funding for this project, but we can only receive it if we can raise the remaining $80,000 – and we've already raised $40,000!

Every gift, no matter the size, makes a big difference in our effort to preserve the legacy of The Gatekeeper’s House and Theater in the Open for generations to come. Leave a lasting impression on our home by purchasing a paving stone on the walkway or a star for our tent. There are many ways to leave your mark!

Will you help us achieve this match and unlock a total of $160,000 for this project?
