The dog is under the care of a veterinarian that has been approved by AaRoooo!! 2. The medical care has been discussed with the AaRoooo!! foster home coordinator prior to treatment (except in emergencies). 3. The AaRoooo!! foster home coordinator has the final authority to determine, authorize and approve treatment.

Since you have children under 9 years of age living in the home or that will have regular contact with the baaset hound, you are not eligible to foster or adopt from AaRoooo!! The basset hounds that come to AaRoooo!! unfortunattly all have had a difficult past. Some have been abused, some neglected and some arrive with a variety of untreated diseases. We are unwilling to take the risks associated with adoptions to homes and families with children under 9 years of age. We hope you understand why AaRooo!! has established this ridgid and non-negotiable policy.
