Theme:

  • The theme this year is ‘fall-inspired’, where we invite you to embrace the season with your favorite scarecrow, football player, or any fall-inspired costume that represents the season to you! And don’t forget, one of our categories is ‘Best dog & owner duo’, so make sure you and your dog dress to match for a chance to win a prize!

Arrival and Check-in:

Check-in and lineup will begin at 8:30 AM on Saturday, September 21st, in the Beaverdale Books parking lot at 2629 Beaver Ave. Please arrive on time and look for our friendly volunteers, who will assist you with check-in and get you lined up for the parade.

Parade Route:

The dog parade will commence once all participants are lined up at Beaverdale Books, by 9:00 AM at the latest. The parade route will head north on Beaver Ave to Adams Ave, then make a U-turn and return to the intersection of Beaver and Urbandale Avenues (roughly 0.6 miles).

Judging:

Judging will occur near the announcer stand at the corner of Beaver & Urbandale Avenues. Each participant will briefly pause for evaluation and a quick photo by the judges. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the dog parade at the announcer stand.
