Fund-A-Ministry Opportunities**

$1,000 — Send Students on Mission Trips  Since 2019, UNC Wesley has developed a rich partnership with Iglesia Metodista Obispo Francis Asbury (Bishop Francis Asbury Methodist Church) in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.  Every year, students return from our Spring Break Mission Trip dedicated to being a Christian community with and for each other and Chapel Hill—and most years someone discerns a call to full-time ministry.  Next October, IMOFA will send a team to visit us.  $1,000 provides a scholarship for a student to travel to Puerto Rico and participate in IMOFA’s trip to Chapel Hill.

$500 — Send Students on Retreat  Fall and Spring Retreat are key for students’ faith formation.  These weekends away from campus allow students to reflect on how God is speaking to them through a combination of worship, games, shared meals, and other activities.  A team of students work together to plan and lead each retreat.  $500 provides a subsidy for 5 Wesley students to go on a Retreat.

$250 — Feed Hungry Students  The old adage is still true:  if you feed them, they will come.  Wesley Dinners are a key place where students build relationships and take a break from the busyness of college.  Food is also a key part of social events in our building—from cheering on the Tar Heels to having game nights.  $250 provides a meal for 25 students!

$100 — Fund a Worship Service  Worship is not only where students reconnect with God every week; it is also where students develop the skills to lead worship, themselves.  Pastors and lay leaders all over North Carolina (and beyond!) honed their skills at Wesley Worship.  $100 covers the cost of a worship service by providing communion elements, worship equipment, and honoraria for guest preachers.

$50 — Provide Pastoral Care   Our Campus Minister, Interns, and Student Leaders provide much of their care over lunch and coffee.  From answering deep questions about faith, to journeying with students through the difficulties of college and life, these meetings are key to helping students root their lives in God’s story.  $50 provides for both a lunch and a coffee with a student.

**If any area of our ministry is fully funded, additional funds will be directed to the area of greatest need.
