Through the Collaboration Program, the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve is coordinating a free two-day virtual workshop titled "Resiliency Workshop: Tools, Case Studies, and Resources to Support Local Efforts." To support community resiliency analysis and planning, this workshop will feature presentations on how to access reserve data, share skill-building resources, highlight local case studies, and demonstrate federal and state tools.
Day 1 will include climate adaptation and resilience tool demos related to risk communication, climate hazards, coastal inundation, equity, and reserve weather and water quality data. Day 2 will include presentations on resiliency case studies and funding opportunities from various local programs and agencies.
