New Year, New Pages: A Novelist Support & Productivity Group

Are you an aspiring novelist ready to abandon the flaming disaster that was 2020 and start the new year with a burst of creativity? If so, this monthlong productivity and support group for novelists is for you! Throughout January, you’ll be asked to commit to a daily writing goal while receiving support from your fellow attendees and facilitator. Weekly meetings will help everyone connect and commiserate over Zoom while additional communications will continue throughout the month via a Slack channel. Meet and connect with other aspiring novelists, receive tips from the facilitator, and get motivated to make progress on that novel.

Instructor: Laura Maylene Walter’s debut novel, BODY OF STARS, is forthcoming from Dutton. Her writing has appeared in the Kenyon Review, Poets & Writers, The Sun, The Masters Review, Ninth Letter, and many other publications. She has been a Yaddo Fellow, a Tin House Scholar, and a writer-in-residence at the Chautauqua Institution and Art Omi: Writers. Laura works as a writer and editor for Cleveland Public Library, is editor-in-chief of Literary Cleveland's Gordon Square Review, and blogs for the Kenyon Review.

Details: New Year, New Pages: A Novelist Support & Productivity Group with Laura Maylene Walter will meet Mondays 1/4, 1/11, 1/18, & 1/25 from 7-8pm using Zoom video conferencing for a weekly check-in. Ongoing communications will happen via email and in Slack throughout the month.
