A partnership with

Summer Fun for Everyone is a multiple-week series of summer camps offered by Jacob's Chance for campers ages 8-40 with developmental, intellectual, and/or physical disabilities. Through one week of outdoor camp, one week of culinary arts camp, another week of sports camp, and a fourth week of arts camp, campers participate in a variety of enriching activities that are focused on positive self-image, socialization, and wellness. Jacob's Chance utilizes the buddy system to ensure each camper is able to participate to their maximum potential.

Sports Camp

Registration closes 5/15, or when at capacity

Join us for a week of all things "sports" - Buddy Ball Olympics style! From basketball, to volleyball, to kickball, come hang out with friends and try new sports!

Date: July 15-18th (Monday-Thursday)

Location: Tuckahoe Middle School (9000 Three Chopt Rd, Richmond, VA 23229)

Times:

1:30-4pm (ages 20-40)

Registration Fee: $75

Financial assistance is always available

We will be mostly indoors, but may move outside if the weather is nice. In case of inclement weather, no refunds will be issued. We will use our best judgement to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants and volunteers, and will communicate changes to the schedule as needed.

Pre-Summer Camp Ice Cream Social!

Each year, campers are invited to an ice cream social before camp begins! This is strongly encouraged for campers, new or returning. During camp, each camper will be paired up with a buddy (volunteer) that they will hang out with each day! During the social, you'll have the opportunity to meet some instructors and volunteers that you'll be working with at camp, and this will help us make sure we make the best buddy/camper pair assignments possible.

Time: 6:30-7:30pm

Location: TBA

Food: We will provide ice cream and toppings! We will have popsicles on hand for our dairy-free friends.
