One moment please...

Dear Councilmember Harrell, Mayor Ed Murray, and the Seattle Department of Transportation,

Thank you for implementing phase one of the Rainier Ave Safety Corridor project. It has made a positive differnece to our community. The data shows that aggressive speeding (over 40 MPH) is down 95%, injuries involving people walking are down 41%, the #7 bus has not been slowed down, and traffic still flows.

Now it's time for phase two. Every crash impacts our community – from cars careening into our businesses to our children being run down by drivers who never even stop. Rainier Ave S should be made safe for all people to walk, bike, drive, catch the bus, shop, and live. Everyone who lives along Rainier Ave deserves a safe street from Rainier Beach to Mt Baker.

Thank you for phase one. We have your back to complete this important safety project.

Sincerely,
