Outdoor Education Equipment Fund

Outdoor Education at Alliance Redwoods gives middle school students (grades 5 and 6) hands-on learning experiences that can only take place in the natural setting of the forest, stream, and ocean.

We have a total of 80 schools and 13,000 students joining us throughout the school year, most of the equipment we use is worn out or must be replaced. Some of the equipment that needs to be replaced includes rock and mineral test kits that allow students the ability to do hands-on testing, compasses that help students learn orienteering, and aquatic nets to collect macroinvertebrates at the stream.

Our goal is for every child to experience both personal growth and academic gains in natural science and retain these benefits when they return to the classroom and community. Not to mention, create memories and cultivate a love for the outdoors that will last a lifetime! New and updated learning tools will help us to do this.

Alliance Redwoods is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the regulations of the Internal Revenue Service. All contributions to this organization are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. Tax ID Number: 94-1683665.
