TWO FULL NIGHTS OF MUSIC! Friday AND Saturday on an OUTDOOR STAGE with plenty of relaxing time in the middle!
About the Festival
Wanderfest 2018 is a family friendly event, showcasing some of the greatest musicians in the Pacific Northwest! This year the lineup includes TWO FULL NIGHTS OF MUSIC on an OUTDOOR STAGE with FOURTEEN of the best BANDS in the business.
Fans will enjoy a full weekend of music with: Wanderband, featuring members of Wanderlodge & The Resolectrics, Gravel, The Resolectrics, redray frazier, The Old Yellers / The Yellers, The Little Sue Band, The Deadstring Family Band, Pagan Jug Band, Anita Lee & the Handsome 3, James Low @ the Western Front, McDougall & Friends, Denver, Taylor Kingman & Friends, Paul Brainard's Fun Machine!
The venue is located at historic Dundee Lodge in Gaston, Oregon, about one hour west of Portland. Built in 1920 as a private hunting lodge, it is now being lovingly renovated and restored by Hayden and Kya White, who desire to bring the lodge back to life, care for it and share it with the community. It is now available for group gatherings and retreats, community events and house concerts, and occasional weddings.
We know what kind of audience to expect at Wanderfest based on the universal appeal of the music presented and on our previous experience with event production in this area. The festival will attract a diverse demographic, ranging in age from young families to senior citizens. There will be an approximately even number of males and females in attendance.
The festival is a Great Northwest Production, produced by veteran event administrator, Dina Sayers. She and her 501(c)3, non-profit production company (sponsored by CascadiaNow) have extensive experience in successful festival production. She (along with many others) will be donating their time and energy to ensure the event is a huge success. 80% of ALL TICKET SALES & SPONSORSHIPS will directly benefit the venue and the musicians associated with this event. 20% will support future Great Northwest Productions and offset necessary administrative costs.
