Second Saturdays: Flowers of Spring will look at the different floral designs that can be found in quilts both modern and historic. From an 1840s Carolina Lily to Shenandoah National Park made in 2014 by Hollis Olson, come see some beautiful flowers.
Second Saturdays is a new series focused on sharing the Virginia Quilt Museum’s collection with quilt lovers in a virtual setting. Each Second Saturday will cover a different topic and include a 30 minute presentation highlighting 4-5 quilts followed by time for questions. This Second Saturdays presentation will be given by VQM Executive Director, Alicia Thomas
