VOLUNTEER 2024 Social Groups - September Adult Hangout!

If you're new to Jacob's Chance, welcome! We're so glad you're interested in volunteering. No prior experience is required to volunteer! For The Hangout, we welcome volunteers 18 and up.

If you are 18+ and have not yet completed a background check with Jacob's Chance, you will be required to complete one before you begin volunteering. Please contact us at programs@jacobschance.org to begin the process!

September Hangout: VMFA Scavenger Hunt!

Registration open through September 20th, or when at capacity

Help our young adult friends with disabilties have THE BEST time as we enjoy some snacks in the VMFA garden and complete a fun scavenger hunt throughout the Virginia Fine Arts Museum. Your role is to help make sure participants feel supported throughout the event, and help facilitate conversations and fun social interaction!

Date: Friday, September 27th

Participant Time: 3:00pm-5:00pm

Volunteer Commitment Time: 2:45pm-5:15pm

Location: Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (200 N Arthur Ashe Blvd, Richmond, VA 23220)
