The Fresno Arts Safety Net Fund (FASNF) is intended to aid art organizations headquartered in Fresno County who are experiencing immediate and imminent financial emergencies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Grants will be awarded in increments of $1,000 with a maximum possible of $5,000. The number of grants will depend on total funds raised.
We depend on artists to help us understand and reimagine the world we live in, especially during these dark times filled with uncertainty. If you are able to, please donate today to help us sustain temporary relief funding for Fresmo County artists. A donation is purely voluntary and is not required to submit this application for a grant.
We strongly encourage arts & cultural organizations that serve communities of color disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 to apply. Read the full overview of the FASNF grant program at: http://fresnoartscouncil.org/fresno-arts-safety-net-fund/.

Recipients will be notified by a Fresno Arts Council representative via phone or by email. All grant applications are free of charge, and there are no hidden or additional fees. Please do not contact the Fresno Arts Council to inquire about the status of your application, or to ask whether you have won a grant if you have not already been notified by the end of this six-week review period. Your application submission does not guarantee that you will be selected to receive a grant from the FASNF during this round.

This may be taxable income: applicants are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and for filing all tax documents, if selected for a grant.
In furtherance of the Fresno Arts Council’s nonprofit mission to encourage participation and appreciation of the arts, FASNF grant recipients will be asked to collaborate with the Fresno Arts Council to share their artistic work in some way with the public.
