Mike's Hikes 6.25: Paonia Springs
Join us for an educational outing to observe some of the springs that feed Paonia's drinking water system and talk about the city's water system, source water protection, and other conservation topics. This will be a moderate 3-5 mile hike mainly on jeep roads, with limited elevation gain (generally in short uphill spurts). Expect great views of the North Fork Valley, Paonia and the Ragged Mountains, and perhaps signs of bear (scat and prints) or other wildlife.
Note: We will need to carpool in 4WD vehicles for a 1.5 mile drive up a very rough/rocky dirt road. Please indicate in the form whether you have one that can accommodate additional passengers.
Please provide their name(s).
