Compete in the 7 hour building competition!
Teams have 7 hours to build the most masterful, functional, creative piece they can dream up of,using only materials found at the Home ReSource. Teams can be made up of 1 – 5 folks, are provided space to build, access to power, and use of the welding and cutting stations. All participants receive a commemorative SponCon t-shirt, free breakfast treats & coffee, drink ticket, and a team gift bag.
A manadatory team information meeting will be held one week(ish) prior to the event. One representative for each team is required to attend. Date and time will be communicated 2 - 3 weeks prior to date.
Please note that your team must read and promise to abide by the rules and regulations of Spontaneous Construction in order to participate. It is our priority to ensure a safe, healthy, FUN event for all! The rules will be sent out to teams as soon as they are finalized, and each team member will be required to read and agree to the rules before participating. Important information can be found here including; logistics, rules, procedures, schedule, judging, liability and media waviers (this information will be covered in the mandatory meeting prior to the event).
