MLT Board Member Lorrie Lagasse will lead a hike along the 2.2-mile trail and offer information about whales and their trip along the coast as we go. (We probably won’t travel the complete trail in two hours, especially if there is a lot of whale activity to watch, but you are welcome to finish it after our whale talk is over!)

Bring your binoculars and spyglasses, warm layers, water, and sunscreen. You may even want to bring an easy-to-carry-chair or stool so you can sit and observe for an extended period. There should be plenty of parking, but if it has been rainy or otherwise stormy, we will need to make alternate arrangements for parking. Therefore, we ask that you RSVP for the walk so we can communicate with you.

Accessibility info: This outing will involve walking on trails and in coastal grassland area. There are slopes to go up and down but elevation change is minimal.
