Weather: Field trips to Stony Kill Farm run rain or shine. If we need to cancel due to inclement weather we will do our best to reschedule but we are unable to reserve rain dates.
Current Covid Protocols: (updated May 2022) Program participants are expected to adhere to the self-screening and quarantine guidance provided by New York State and your school district. Programs are held primarily outdoors, with the exception of our barn and lower shop which is partially outdoors. Use of our barn classroom and Learning Center classrooms will be determined based on the number of attending students and chaperones. All program attendees will be expected to adhere to the masking requirements defined by your school district or institution. All SKF staff and educators are fully vaccinated. Groups that stay for lunch must eat outdoors unless arranged with the Program Director. Disinfectant and masks are available by request on-site for program use. Please note, all scheduled programs are subject to cancellation following New York State and Department of Health guidelines. We will do our best to reschedule should we need to cancel due to COVID guidelines or inclement weather.
Payment Policy: Stony Kill Foundation requires payment before the day of your trip or by the day of your trip. Once your trip is confirmed, you will be emailed an invoice based on your expected #of students attending. Teachers and chaperones are free. If you need to adjust your # of participants as the trip approaches, you can email our Program Director. Payment can be made by cash or check preferred but we can also accept credit cards if requested. If you are applying for the Connect-Kids-Grant, your school will be reimbursed after you submit your receipts, after your trip has concluded. An SKF representative will need to sign your paperwork on the day of your trip. Stony Kill is not reimbursed through this grant.
