One moment please...
Heart & Chutzpah 5781

We are looking forward to being with you for an evening of community connection on May 22, 2021 from 7:30 to 9:30pm. Chef Michael Twitty will be our keynote speaker (beginning at 8:15) followed by a brief Q&A!

All tickets offer access to the event and help us cover the cost of our speakers, artists, ASL interpreters, captioners, and meals for those who are attending locally! Please purchase the number of tickets per person, as you would in an in-person event. This is especially important for people attending in the Seattle area, as each ticket equals one meal ticket!

In order to reach our $60k goal -- and to ensure that Kadima's operations are funded and that all continues to grow here -- we ask you to please give a gift that feels meaningful to you this year. If you are currently paying Nadiv Lev accessible dues, please refer to the below image as a guide. If you have any questions, please reach out to mads.

Heart & Chutzpah-y Details!

Program: Join us to do some learning with students and teachers from Kadima School, bask in the wisdom of chef and culinary historian Michael Twitty, and let the music of Brivele wash over you. We'll end the night with a community havdala. All of this will take place over Zoom (link to be sent May 20th, the Thursday before the event)

Food: Heart & Chutzpah is being catered by Jemil's Big Easy, a work of Cajun/Creole culinary genius led by chef Jemil Aziz Johnson. The food will be outside and available in pre-packaged containers for pick-up in two locations in Seattle: one in the south (at Kadima, 832 32nd Ave., 98122) and another in the UDistrict (at a Kadima member's house, whose address will be sent to those who are buying tickets in the north end). The meal is vegetarian, and will include gluten free and dairy free options.

Packages: For members living locally, there will be gift packages that accompany your ticket, available for pick-up with your meal or for drop-off if you opted out of a meal ticket. They will include local chocolates and beverages, alcoholic and non! (there's an option to opt out of alcoholic drinks!)

**If you are paying by check, please submit this form and ignore the payment form that follows. Instead, make your check out to: Kadima Reconstructionist Community and mail it to:
